Crabtree & Evelyn’s Heritage Collection, designed to commemorate 40 years of fragrance, explores the Mediterranean via three flower waters—all accompanied by wonderful scent stories.

For instance, Old World Jasmine Flower Water ($59) features one of the oldest known botanical scents. On arrival in Europe, via the Silk Road, jasmine was quickly adopted and prized for its exotic fragrance. Here, it’s combined with gardenia and cyclamen blended with citrus.

The vintage-looking flacon, with a screw-off plastic top that resembles a glass stopper and a simple nametag that dangles above the ribbing, provide a quaint touch. The cardboard cylinder carton tells a tale of romantic travel with traces of ancient maps, Customs stamps and florals. Also available in Florentine Freesia and Venetian Violet scents.
